Sunderland 1978 Home Retro Shirt

As with many clubs’ kits, the late 1970s for Sunderland shirts meant simplicity, as this Score Draw reproduction of the 1978 design demonstrates.

The logo of the supplier of the time, Umbro, appears in black, and as the chest was by this point adorned with a crest, that is recreated in beautifully colourful embroidery.

The classic red-and-white-striped look is complemented with a winged collar and this throwback will duly represent something essentially timeless for any Black Cats fan who adds it to their wardrobe.
